National Drive Electric Week: Energy Trends Expo

Join Dakota Electric Association and Lakeville Friends of the Environment for the Energy Trends Expo on Sept. 30, 2021!

The Expo will have a vendor trade show, electric vehicle car show, and breakout sessions. Attendance is free.

Breakout session topics:

  • 5:30 PM: What’s New in Solar Policy in 2021: Solar for Schools, Brightfields, and more! Presented by the MN Solar Energy Industry Association (MNSEIA)
    • The 2021 Legislative Session was the most impactful for the solar industry since 2013. Soon, you might see solar installations popping up on your local schools—and where you might not see it, on capped landfills. The Minnesota Solar Energy Industries Association will give an update on new state solar policies, and answer questions you didn’t know you had.
  • 6:00 PM: Electrification, Load Management and the Energy Conservation Optimization (ECO) Act Presented by Great River Energy (GRE)
    • Review of the upcoming opportunities and changes associated with the Energy Conservation and Optimization (ECO) Act and how utilities can consider the tie between electrification and load management.
