MnDOT Electric Vehicle Public Engagement Session-EV Passenger cars and trucks

May 26th 11:30am to 1:00pm
Online

Much has changed in the Electric Vehicle (EV) landscape in the last two years with more automakers making large commitments to eliminate gasoline vehicles in the future, more EVs on the market, and a new federal administration with large EV goals. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is now looking for input on Minnesota’s EV Strategic Plan that will set the state up for success as the EV landscape continues to evolve, all while working to meet the state’s climate and public health goals.

MnDOT invites the public to attend a virtual engagement session it is hosting on May 26, 2021, 11:30 am-1 pm to gather input about Minnesota’s EV Strategic Plan. This session will review all strategies broadly, then dive deeper into EV passenger cars and trucks. MnDOT is especially seeking input from members of Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and low-income communities.

The session will be facilitated by the Great Plains Institute.
