Minnesota State Fair Parade & Electric Vehicle Showcase

The Minnesota State Fair lasts 12 days, and you can learn something about EVs every single day!

Daily Parade: Electric vehicles and an electric school bus will be featured at the Minnesota State Fair in a parade on Wednesday, Aug. 28 and Thursday, Aug. 29 in the afternoon, courtesy of the Minnesota EV Owners Circle, Schmitty and Sons, and Great River Energy. The Minnesota State Fair Daily Mall Parade begins at 2 p.m. each day and winds through the heart of the fairgrounds.

Eco Experience EV Display: After the parade, visit the Eco Experience building to see the latest electric vehicle, an ABB DC Fast Charging unit, a Level 2 charging station, and an interactive touchscreen charging station map. You can also talk with EV Owners who drive these cars every day. The Eco Experience is a huge exhibit at the Minnesota State Fair, filled with hands-on activities, demonstrations, and resources. Check it out during the 12 days of the Minnesota State Fair: Aug. 22 – Sept. 2, daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Presentations: And don’t forget about the Sustainability Stage in the Eco Experience! On Saturday, Aug. 31 from 2 to 3 pm, electric vehicle owners will host a panel and talk about their experiences as EV owners in Minnesota!
