The Electric School Bus Grant program helps schools across Minnesota make the shift to cleaner, more cost-effective transportation. Funding covers 80% to 90% of the cost of purchasing electric school buses and 65% to 90% of other eligible expenses, such as charging infrastructure. The Minnesota Department of Commerce is currently accepting applications  until May 13, 2025, at 5:00 pm CST.
